Celebrate 100 Years

100 Years at Ruskin Road

September 1911 saw our forebears lay the foundation stones for a new Carshalton Methodist Church, the old gothic style building we now call the Ruskin Hall. Fifteen years later the Church was full to overflowing and they built a new, more modern looking church alongside the old gothic one. This gave us the two distinctive buildings that front onto Ruskin Road today.

From September 2011 we begin our celebration of 100 years of worshipping God and serving our community in Ruskin Road. There will be events throughout the coming year and we invite you to celebrate with us.

We have selected MERU as our Centenary charity. Half the net proceeds of our designated Centenary events will go to assist their work supplying aids to disabled children. We hope to be able to offer MERU a generous donation at the end of our Centenary year.
