BBC SONGS OF PRAISE IS COMING TO CARSHALTON METHODIST CHURCH The BBC's premier religious programme, Songs of Praise, is coming to our Church in October. The BBC will record five hymns and a community cinema show to be transmitted on Sunday 21 November on BBC One. CHURCH SUPPORTS SUTTON'S ENVIRONMENTAL FAIR - 30 AUGUST
One of Sutton's premier outdoor events, the Eco Local Environmental Fair takes place in Carshalton Park alongside Carshalton Methodist Church. Come and say hello to us in our red marquee on Bank Holiday Monday 30 August. Together with Bandon Hill and Wallington Methodist Churches, we will also be helping to run the Fair's Sea Zone offering oceans of fun for kids.

COMMUNITY CINEMA RETURNS WITH AUTUMN FILM PROGRAMME - 4 SEPTEMBER
Our Ruskin Community Cinema begins its Autumn programme by showing Sir Richard Attenborough's 1992 movie on the life of Charlie Chaplin. South London born Chaplin is played by Robert Downey Junior who has had recent sucess with his unique portrayal of Sherlock Holmes. REEL LIFE FILM GROUP HOLDS FIRST MEETING - 6 SEPT
