Where to find usCarshalton Methodist Church is on the edge of Carshalton Park. We are not far from the 154 bus route (get off at the Windsor Castle pub and walk along Beynon Road), and the 157, 407 and X26 bus routes all run through nearby Carshalton Village. The nearest railway stations are Carshalton and Carshalton Beeches. See the map below. As you approach from the road, the church is the white painted building on your left. On your right (looking rather like a church because originally it was) is the Ruskin Hall. See Street View below. The office is reached via the Ruskin Hall side entrance, which is ahead of you as you approach with the hall on your right. Continue ahead to reach firstly the Lower Park Hall and then the Upper Park Hall. AccessibilityThe side door to the church provides level access to the church itself. The Lower Park Hall is accessed via a moderately sloping corridor. There is an accessible toilet just inside the entrance to the Lower Park Hall. Level access to the Ruskin Hall is via the side door. We regret that neither the Upper Park Hall nor the Upper Room have level access. ParkingUnrestricted on-street parking is available in The Park (the road to the west of the church site) and on parts of Ruskin Road. There is hard standing for two cars on the corner of the church site: this is reserved for the use of church officers and for persons with reduced mobility and their drivers. |
